Where golf science meets your best game.

Rick Silva and Movement 3 Golf — built around one idea: data-driven coaching that respects how YOUR body actually moves.

The Story

Twenty years in. Still asking better questions.

Rick Silva is a Class A PGA Professional with more than twenty years coaching players at every level — from juniors and amateurs to PGA Tour and Korn Ferry players. Along the way he has been recognized by GOLF Magazine as a Top 100 Teacher in America for 2026–27, named a Golf Digest Best Teacher in Illinois for 2026–27, and nominated eight times for Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year.

He is also the author of “The Golfer’s Tools: A Practical Guide to Swing Science,” written with Michael Jacobs — a book that translates elite biomechanics into a framework any committed player can use.

Coaching shouldn’t ask you to fit the method. The method should fit you.

Rick Silva

Movement 3 Golf is Rick’s elite instruction studio in Highland Park, IL — a facility inside DINX Social Club at 1931 Skokie Valley Rd, built around the same philosophy that has driven his coaching from day one: real measurement, individualized methodology, and coaching that adapts to the player, not the other way around.

The studio is open year-round and houses the technology stack used by the world’s best coaches — the same tools that train tour players, working for every M3G player regardless of level.

The Philosophy

Three principles. No exceptions.

01

Movement First.

Every swing is built on how your body actually moves — your mobility, your physical readiness, your unique mechanics. Skip that step and you’re guessing.

02

Measure. Don’t Assume.

Eye-tests miss what matters. We measure ground forces, 3D body and club motion, ball flight, and impact — so every change has a reason and a number behind it.

03

Methodology, Not Method.

There is no one swing. The right swing is the one your body can repeat under pressure. We build it with you, around you.

True Spec Clubfitting

Brand-independent fitting integrated into coaching.

Who Rick Coaches

From scratch golfers to tour players.

Rick coaches a deliberately wide range — from juniors and brand-new golfers to mid-amateurs chasing club championships to elite players competing on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour. The method scales. What changes between a 25-handicap and a tour player isn’t the philosophy — it’s the precision of the questions and the speed of the iterations.

A Practical Guide to Swing Science.

Co-written with Michael Jacobs and built around the science Rick uses every day at Movement 3 Golf. The book translates 3D biomechanics into something every committed player can use — the same framework that shapes every M3G coaching session.

Next Step

Come see how it works.

The fastest way to understand the M3G method is to book a session and experience it. Or schedule a studio tour first — meet Rick, see the technology, and decide if it’s right for you.
